Motivated by ‘design through making’, I enjoy exploring the innovative use of materials, colour, and detailing. As well as this focus on craft, my professional experience to date has led to a strong interest in community projects.
I have worked for architecture practices in Edinburgh and Copenhagen, and have led several projects, including the award-winning Flitch House for Oliver Chapman Architects. Since 2020, I have been part of the team at Helen Lucas Architects working on private domestic projects across the UK.
In 2021, I was selected as one of the emerging designers for London Festival of Architecture’s City Benches series and, alongside Greig Pirrie, have recently been selected as one of the winners of the 2023 Toronto Winter Stations competition.
